Project Manager
Cascade Fence & Deck
About Us
Cascade Fence & Deck is one of the fastest-growing outdoor living companies in the Pacific Northwest.
We build high-end fences, decks, patio covers, and saunas - but what really sets us apart is our people.
We value grit, humor, ownership, accountability, and genuinely caring about each other.
We’re on a mission to hit $50M in revenue, and we’re building the team that will take us there.
The Role
This is a hands-on Project Manager role for someone who takes ownership and leads from the front.
You’ll be responsible for managing projects from start to finish - working closely with crews, customers, and internal teams to ensure projects stay on track, meet expectations, and are executed at a high level.
This role requires a strong field presence. You won’t just manage from a desk, you’ll be onsite, solving problems, supporting crews, and making real-time decisions that keep projects moving.
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day project execution
- Coordinate schedules between customers and crews
- Conduct onsite visits and job check-ins
- Set clear expectations and hold crews accountable
- Solve problems quickly and keep projects moving
- Communicate proactively with customers
- Support sales in hitting revenue and margin targets
- Ensure clean handoffs and a strong customer experience
- Continuously improve systems and processes
What You Bring
- Construction related experience (roofing, siding, windows, decks, landscaping a huge plus!)
- Strong leadership and ownership mindset
- Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently
- Problem-solving under pressure
- Comfort being in the field regularly
- High accountability - you own the outcome
- Clear, direct communication
- Organized and adaptable (every day looks different)
- Ability to balance field and office responsibilities
You don’t need to be perfect, but you do need to take ownership, move fast, and care about doing things right.
Compensation & Benefits
- $70,000 – $120,000 DOE + growth potential
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision (for you and your family)
- Company vehicle + gas card
- Monthly phone stipend
- 401k
- PTO + paid holidays
- Clear leadership growth path
Why You’ll Love This Role
- Massive opportunity for personal and professional growth
- Direct impact on a company scaling toward $50M
- Strong team that holds a high standard and supports each other
- Work that’s tangible, you’ll see what you help build every day
- Flexibility and autonomy when results are there
Why You Might NOT Like It
- This is a high-accountability role, results matter
- This is a high pressure role. Pressure comes from the crews and from the homeowners.
- You’ll be in the field regularly (weather, some long days, etc.)
- You’ll deal with real-world problems, not just planning
- The role requires adaptability, it’s not always structured
- You may need to respond to issues outside standard hours
- If you're super into politics/drama/etc and love to talk about that at work - we hate politics.
Bottom Line
This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to lead, solve problems, and help build something meaningful.
It’s not easy, but for the right person, it’s one of the most rewarding roles in the company.
If that’s you, let’s talk.
